I was hesitant to buy one and looked at it for months before finally buying this one. I was very impressed with how much it relieved tension in my upper back and neck. At first it seemed that the heating component was not working, but lately it seemed to be working? I first contacted support about this issue and they said it was just a mild low heat function. Now that it's running, it's warmer than described (but not hot). I've probably used it over a dozen times since I bought it 2 months ago. Once or twice a week on average so I think $35 is worth the price as massages are usually over $60-75. Can I recommend it? Yes, definitely, especially for upper back/shoulder/neck pain and stiffness! Pros: * You can actually untie knots in your neck, shoulders and behind your shoulder blades * Openings for your hands/wrists so you can pull the device back for more pressure (which I like) * Various speed, direction and heat settings * affordable price for a deep upper back/neck massage Cons: *doesn't work as well on my lower back as I wanted, but it could be a personal issue: it hurt my lower back when I pressed hard, and it did Pain still not relieved there - probably my pain is related to undiagnosed sciatica rather than lumps in my lower back. * The length of the power cord is short, so I can only use it in one or two places in my house. I wish it was a few feet longer * The heat/warm function didn't work initially and seems to be intermittent now. * I would like (if the heating was on) that it gets warmer too
