Works well. I use some old Casio batteries for this. I usually build my own chargers and charging circuits from scratch but it costs about $10 so why not. Not sure if the device recognizes polarity or if I just got lucky on the first try. The only minor flaw has to do with the shape of my Casio batteries, they are bent at the opposite end of the battery contacts so they are very close to popping out. It's like handling a mousetrap with the battery in, if that makes sense in terms of stability (no risk of injury like a real mousetrap, it's just delicate). I plan to only use this with small single cell lithium ion batteries with flat contacts. I create complex manageable lithium batteries from scratch, circuit boards etc. I'm fairly competent in the EE field; If this unit shows any problems or breaks, I'll just fix it myself. However, I will update this review to reflect this. 10/10 keep it up. Super cheap, works great. Don't expect anything super impressive for $10. But it works and seems pretty well made. (Looks solid enough considering the internal setup, this is definitely a budget build, again who cares if it works for $10.)
