Review on πŸ”§ Werner 55-2 Attic Ladder Hinge Arms Replacement with Enhanced Compatibility for 2010 & Later Models of Werner Attic Ladders by Doug Powell

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works very well. Think about your own equipment.

Before purchasing this set, I have paid particular attention to the comments previously given in the reviews section by Mr Thorpe, Mr Sparks, Matthew M and Mr Putnam. I had them and compared them to the advertised values for this device. My arms were different as they didn't include the curved part, but simple math led me to conclude this would work since all other measurements matched. My staircase was very old and there are no visible traces of who built it; So there was some risk in buying the kit after 2010, but it fit based on the measurements. My only additional comment besides what has been provided by others concerns the hardware. The bracket has four holes and requires three screws on each side for installation. It is in order! Because this house is older (1976), the wood has aged. Even when pre-drilling, I only broke off the screw head 2/3 of the way. The first time I thought it was me, but the second time it happened I thought differently. After that I used my own hardware and had no problems installing it. hands work fine!
