These little tent beds are so much fun for kids! We use them for camping, sleeping, playing and traveling. Not only do our little ones love them, their cousins and friends think they are the coolest too! Although in practice they are really durable. If you have a child who falls everywhere, they will not do so more than a few times in these. When falling, only the legs are bent on one side. A simple repair and the top of the tent remains intact. All 4 sides can be recessed and all 4 sides have double screens / solid flap zip. I would say that a child who is 8 years old and not too big is probably the oldest child who could fit comfortably. There are large cots from other companies that are just as interesting.
