Review on Unleash Your Potential: Under Armour Men's Charged Assert 9 Running Shoe by Homer Reed

Shoes rub at the back of the ankle above the heel, abrasions in the skin, a bloody blister

There are no comments on durability as I've only worn them for a week. Complaints: Above the heel, on the back of the ankle where the Achilles tendon is, the tops of the boot start digging into my skin, slowly causing a blister. It happened to both legs. Applying band-aids to these areas to hide the damage helped the skin heal and prevent further damage. I suspect my skin will develop calluses on this part over time, so I don't need band-aids to protect it. Also, the shoes are comfortable. They fit well (my feet don't slide into the shoe when walking), are comfortable and a bit porous when new. The tread does not grip very well on surfaces that are smooth rather than rough, as well as on wet surfaces. , even a slightly rough surface doesn't offer a good grip. There is some slip. Grip is good on rough and rocky concrete, as well as smooth and *dry* linoleum found in most department stores, but *wet* smooth surfaces (like linoleum, polished concrete, or stone) are more dangerous when traction is desired. The price is quite low, so a good price even with the limitations and problems described.
