Expected more solid construction from Gaggia, materials seem like cheap toys. I've only been using it for a month and it does the job, but I can't say I'm satisfied. The coffee pot features a pressure control system designed to ensure the coffee is compacted properly without having to press on the ground coffee. I don't think it's really the same as applying your own pressure. The control buttons are activated by pressing them and fill up favorably. I hope they definitely buy last style switches that feel better. The coffee is ok but not excellent. I couldn't get a creamy espresso, although I tried different coffee grinders and ground my own. Wouldn't buy again although I believe in the brand but chose the wrong Gaggia model.
