I needed a sturdy, adjustable tripod for my DSLR. After doing a lot of research on the internet, I saw that there are many cheaper options. However, one reviewer mentioned how strange it is that people pay for cheaper, lighter tripods and then put a couple hundred dollar camera on top of them. I don't want to damage my camera by buying a flimsy tripod. I mainly use it for video recording, but this tripod can also be used outdoors for photography on uneven surfaces. I've been using it for a few months and am happy with my purchase so far.
