Review on ๐Ÿ”ฆ H4 ECE High/Low Beam Halogen Conversion Headlamp Kit - HELLA 002395801 Vision Plus 165mm, 12V by Bob Larson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best $100 I've spent on my Wrangler.

I just installed them on my 2013 jk. Installation was easy - took about 30 minutes. Be sure to check out some YouTube videos on replacing JK headlights - it really helps. All you need is a flathead screwdriver, a T15 screwdriver and h-13/h-4 adapters. I would recommend the KC highlights - around $25. Hellas light is brighter and whiter than standard (lousy) halogen bulbs. The low beam is a very wide beam of light that really illuminates the road ahead while brightly illuminating reflective road signs in the distance. My unscientific opinion is that they are easily 4x brighter than stockers. The high beam adds a focused wide spot that illuminates the lane directly in front of the driver and reaches 2-3 times further than the low beam. Again, subjectively, I would say that the high beam is three times brighter than the normal one. The only thing I might have to get used to is how effectively these things illuminate any reflective street sign. You can drop the "Sorry Officer, I didn't see the stop signโ€ excuse. As others have written, it's hard to understand why Fiat/Chrysler skimp on something as important as headlights. I recommend this 100%.
