Great for supporting the weight of multiple cables

This is exactly what I was looking for when I installed a new Ethernet and cable TV network in my old house. Pros: Price (about six dollars in 2015) and quantity are pretty amazing compared to other products on the market - Comes with all small parts: 20 nails and 20 screws. The screws are designed for sheet metal but work great with wood. Holds 3 UTP Cat6 cables or 2 RG6 cables in each slot. If you're careful you might be able to squeeze more in. There is a small burr on the locking lever that squeezes the two clips together when you close it. In other words, it won't sag or fall apart over time. He seems to be holding the weight very well. I have 7 ethernet cables and 3 RG6 cables and don't see any slack. Cons: - Being made of smooth plastic, the cables run through them smoothly, making it difficult to hold the slack in the cables without using another method. B. Cable ties, Velcro or U-nails. Tips: Use shorter nails. The supplied ones are simply unnecessarily long. Though they'll probably only hold with one nail, I installed shorter nails *and* screws for added rigidity. Drive in a nail first as the bracket will move and deform a bit if you already have the screw. This can result in the locking lever not closing properly. The bracket has a small protrusion at the bottom. Since I was installing them on old buck style floor joists, I cut off the tabs so the braces lay flat on the corner 2x4s.
