Ideal for cable management!

Better than what I ended up with. Love the latch and the easy way to swap out cables - I use it to run cables everywhere (outdoors), great for the office and for my multi-room AV system. I suppose good for house building too!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Lots of everything

Great clips! They make this nasty network package.

Great videos! They make that ugly bundle of network and signal cables neat and manageable. They work well enough for a power cord, but 12/2 is a bit heavy on them. They really shine on the web runs.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Hard to say

Cable management solution

These devices hold cables up and out of the wall. They work well for lowering temperatures in long wires, but they do this by keeping the wires above the surface, not flat on it. I cut off a short tab at the back so I can attach it a variety of ways if needed. This is a good product but somewhat limited in use. Works great in a stick frame as it has a nailer and hole for screws. It comes with both nails and screws. It works best on a 2x edge.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Installation and cable management in one!

This is a great solution that I use for routing and organizing low voltage wiring on new and old homes. I haven't found an inspector who doesn't agree yet. The nice thing is that you can remove the top latch and add or remove cables as needed! There will always be a customer who "forgot" that they need 3 more CAT6 nodes here, or "forgot" to mention that they would need 5 VOIP nodes there, etc. For new construction, that is code approval. For the old job, it's installation and cable managementโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good cause

  • Minor issues

Works well: Cable Cleats

They work well, but I didn't find them particularly easy to use. I don't quite understand the purpose of placing the screw and nail as they are. I'd rather just have two screws going straight in or something. The plastic isn't very strong, so it's very easy for a nail to go through it if you don't hit it properly with a hammer. And notice how the nail goes through the red plastic band? It would be better if the nail just went through the tube (i.e. no strap, just a cylindrical hole in theโ€ฆ

Great for supporting the weight of multiple cables

This is exactly what I was looking for when I installed a new Ethernet and cable TV network in my old house. Pros: Price (about six dollars in 2015) and quantity are pretty amazing compared to other products on the market - Comes with all small parts: 20 nails and 20 screws. The screws are designed for sheet metal but work great with wood. Holds 3 UTP Cat6 cables or 2 RG6 cables in each slot. If you're careful you might be able to squeeze more in. There is a small burr on the locking lever that
