I have used similar products for electronics but I mainly use this ionizing fan for my vinyl collection and around the home. I wanted something more permanent than nullstat and honestly I couldn't be happier. If you live in a very dry state, static electricity is a big problem. I usually turn on the fan and put the record in front on each side for a few seconds. I noticed a fairly significant difference in static noise and pops when playing games. Let me get this out of the way, not all sounds are static when a record is played. Overall noise has been reduced, so I consider that a win. The fan can get pretty noisy when it's running at full blast, but that's not a problem for me as I might have the thing on for a minute or two at a time. It's a fairly large fan (lightweight for the size) but fits nicely on a countertop.
