I really like that I have a track base and top and bottom plates. I just wish it had more holes to accommodate more screw configurations. Like most Smallrig products, this one is well suited for the budget conscious shooter. I can attach a tripod base from below. The rails fit perfectly and in width. I can also screw on the quick release plate at the top. My problem with this is this: I like to use two screws in everything I screw in to increase grip and prevent unwanted twisting. In this best case you are really limited by the placement of the screw hole on the top, be it a 1/4-20" or larger screw size. I can deal with that for now.
