I bought this to replace the HDMI cables needed for the Raspberry Pi 3 and Raspberry Pi 4 cables. The Pi 4 uses micro HDMI on the board. The picture works great. The first complaint is the size of the module. The monitor I use has a cut out that tries to help with cable management. The module occupies the largest space under the DVI-D connector. When trying to connect the HDMI cable it took me a lot of effort to fit in the space I had. I'm not sure if it's possible to swap the cables now. I'm looking for a right angle adapter to make it easier. As already mentioned, the missing thread groove makes assembly difficult. I ended up having to use small needle nose pliers to install the screws.
