Considering the switch lite is meant to be carried only, I think some sort of handle is absolutely necessary for extended use. This one fits my hands well and is everything I really wanted. Once I got used to it, I released my grip for a moment and played a game of Smash, and my arms started to cramp. I'll probably never take it off again. Then, of course, the case provides perfect protection when not in use.
