Good struts provide a little extra lift without caster or steering issues.
Good struts, nice to have transom mounts on pivot pins. The only complaint I have is that they provided a hollow (for flipping) screw for one of the center screws. I had to buy a replacement at a local hardware store. Otherwise they fit well and actually provided about an inch of lift at the front end on my '73 CJ5.
