I have not yet had a need to install the hanger, as I purchased the hangers as a back up if (really when) the hanger on my Speedconcept bends again (it bent before Wildflower and then again a couple weeks later when the bike fell). That said, the fact that this hanger comes with required screws in a small contained package makes it very easy to keep in my bento box, so I can do a repair on the road.
