Review on ๐Ÿน Black and Silver Panasonic MJ-L500 Slow Juicer with Frozen Treat Attachment for Enhanced SEO by Miguel Escobar

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Efficient and powerful juicer that won't get stuck. But there are difficulties in replacing the part.

All good except that every time I try to turn the feed bowl lid I have trouble. in the gutter. Very impressive. Updated on July 2, 2016 from 4 stars to 5 stars. I just realized that the rubber washer in the center of the bowl was misaligned. By pulling out and reinserting, I can easily put the funnel cover back on. I have a 50 percent chance of making it without trying a second or third time. An update from November 7th, 2016 deducted another star. I still use it for its consistent juice strength. But there is a lot of rust on all metal parts. Rust has a brownish color. Looks like copper rust. I don't know what metal is used for juicer parts. There is no rust on either the Omega or Hurom juicers. (I used them too.) Update January 14, 2017 On December 8, the juicer made a strange noise and stopped spinning when I was juicing the carrot chunks. Upon inspecting the juicer, I found that the juice cup that holds the auger has three cracks where it holds the top cap. See attached picture. I contacted Panasonic customer service several times and they told me the following: 1. My device still had one year of warranty (I bought it in May 2016).2. The juice bowl was not covered (because it's a plastic part. According to their warranty, no plastic parts are covered.) 3. When I asked to buy a replacement juicer, they said they wouldn't sell it to me.4 . The only way to get a replacement is to send the entire device, with all accessories, to a service center in Texas. When I asked their cost I was told to send them to them first to get a quote. I am not satisfied with the company's customer service policy. I don't understand why I have to send them the whole device to buy a spare part. Shipping costs alone are $34. At the moment I'm still considering whether I can buy it somewhere else. In the meantime I bought a new juicer so I can keep juicing.

Pros
  • Centrifugal Juicer
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
