Worst product for the money, wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Addition. After a delay of forty-two days, a response from the SC arrived, in which it stated that it would not promise. Motivating factors include visible signs of body deformity. I ensured that there were no deformations before handing it up to the SC. As a consequence of this, there were no marks of this kind when the results were sent on to the SC. There were some superficial scratches on the chassis of a case that had been purchased from the same supplier. These scratches were located next to the mounting holes. There was also no explanation given as to how the functionality of the device might possibly be affected by this. Market Arbitration informed me that he was unable to provide any assistance in any manner and promised to get in touch with the regulatory authorities; but, given the price of this equipment, this offer does not adequately recompense me for the time I have spent on this matter. Incl. Purchasing this CD is not something I would suggest doing. If there is a problem with the product, the manufacturer will search for any loopholes they can find to get out of providing warranty repairs or replacements.

Pros
  • A number of years ago, I purchased a disk that was the same capacity and was made by the same manufacturer. Everything went off without a hitch. As a result, I made the decision to purchase the same drive for use in a new computer so that I could clear out my files. Because we thought that he could be trusted.
Cons
  • After that, there was a forced marriage. On two different computers, I tested it. I tried installing an older disk of the same model on the same computers, and it worked without a hitch. Complained to the person selling the item. The vendor directed me to the SC, which was situated on the opposite side of the city. OK. When I got there, it was 9.04, and I gave them the disk. This day is April 27. There has been no response from the SC as of yet, which I believe is just a delay and reflects either the dishonesty of the vendor or that WD is having issues with the application of the warranty requirements.
