My husband has vision problems due to a retinal detachment. We had fixed lights and they were very functional. But decent lighting was left in the bedroom and hallway. So the light at night was quite helpful, but the room was never comfortably dark. We bought 3 motion activated ones to replace them and I liked that they keep the room and adjacent hallway dark until motion activated. I was originally in love with her. However, they just turn on spontaneously without provocation up to 5 times a night (maybe more, but I can sleep). I will be awake and the ONLY movement in the room is my breathing and my husband's breathing. Suddenly one turns on and stays on for a certain amount of time. I could almost fall asleep and the other one turns on and does the same. Sometimes I almost sleep on my side and the one across from me in the hallway just keeps going and ruining everything. We played around with the settings (sensitivity, etc.) in vain. We've had them for about 3 weeks now and I'm considering returning them due to this very annoying malfunction.
