Review on ASUS WRX80E SAGE WIFI Threadripper Workstation by Shane Miller

The normal retail price for this thing is full of junk. I have a 5+ year old EVGA motherboard better than this one. I couldn't even get the PCIe NVME SSD to work in RAID because the CMOS setup instructions were very complicated and even then I tried to follow them and I think I followed them but it still didn't is working. I tried installing ECC RAM and it didn't work (although it claims to work with it). Then I went through ASUS' absolutely unreasonable standards just to talk to someone. just talk to someone They wanted my name, SN, name, address, phone number etc which was ridiculous. Then they just told me that the download error code I was getting was some kind of "download error"! As if I wasn't smart enough to find out for myself. Your arrogance and condescension are unacceptable. This board is a last resort if you *really* need its extra features (like all the PCI lanes and NVME ports). Stay away from that too, and I suspect from ASUS motherboards in general.
