Review on CIPA 49304 Convex Adjustable Mirror by Kevin Young

The mirror arrived in its original box and well packed by Revain but as others have noted the mirror is scuffed and scratched in the middle probably through movement during transport. That makes it an unusable 1 star item in my opinion. I've suffered from scratched lenses for too many years to ever willingly look at something so damaged. :-) Too bad, because otherwise it's a great mirror: a black offset frame that rotates around the base so the view changes, and there's a nice piece of glue on the base. I just tried cleaning it with a cotton swab and some rubbing alcohol (I thought the mess on the lens was some kind of goo from the manufacturing process) and not only didn't it fix the problem, but the *cotton ball* left scratches on it the lens, which I assume is plastic. I bought it to use in the cockpit as a "no sneak" system and I can't imagine how it will ever withstand the rigors of being outside in a car.
