Oh my gosh, this is great for potty training! I bought two for home, one for daycare and one for a friend. They are larger than disposable pads, so I only use one disposable pad at a time instead of two. I also just keep one in their daycare backpack instead of forgetting to pack two new ones each day (they throw out trash even if they're not a mess). While I'm a toddler I don't know how much money they're going to save me. Quality wise I've never had a leak even though my baby is half camel and urinates practically a gallon at a time (disposal has leaked about every 3 times). It also saves me a lot of laundry because I can put it under a sheet instead of putting blankets on top of a single sheet. If my daughter has an accident in the middle of the night, I take off a sheet and pad, throw in the extra pad and a new sheet, and she goes back to sleep. The other hallelujah point is that I don't keep changing the little sheet that is the bane of my existence because it doesn't go away. For durability, I've washed ours at least 30 times in the washing machine and just toss them over a bench in the yard to dry. Not a single sign of decomposition and it will be perfectly clean. Highly recommended for all parents with young children. If you are grandparents and want to look wiser than your years send this to your grandkids. UPDATE JUNE 2017: UPDATE: More than a year old and probably 100 washes and still in great shape. No fights or anything. For the first 6 months we air dried them as intended but switched to a low temp dryer and they are fine.
