I like it a lot. Ice fishing is the best. It won't let them bite, but you'll know if they're down there and if they can identify fish species when the clarity is adequate. Best for limited area work and some sun protection. I'm looking forward to using it this summer when I put over the slide in the lake at night the green light will attract the bait. I'm hoping to get a good idea of where the target fish is in relation to the bait and learn a bit about how they attack it. It's too much fun to play with if you can't buy a bite.
