First off, this identical wallet appears to be sold by multiple sellers. I bought one from another seller because I liked the wallet I bought from them and gave a rave review. When the wallet arrived it was a disaster. I sent it back and bought this one instead and I'm so glad I did! When it arrived it was in a clear ziplock plastic bag. The kind you see when you buy bedspreads, electric blankets or bedding. The purse looked great. When I unpacked it from the carrying case, I noticed that it had a plastic smell, which I put down to the fact that it was packaged in a bag. After about an hour the smell was gone and the wallet really smelled like leather. The wallet itself even had the seller's name on a card attached with string, as well as another card with instructions on how to care for the bag. . Also in the wallet was another thank you card for purchasing their product. Almost like I bought it at a department store instead of Revain. Not to say other sellers don't, but I must have been pleasantly surprised after the recent experience purchasing this bag. The skin itself. It actually reacts like skin. It has an obvious texture, and when you fold it, the texture curls like leather. The same effect will put a strong pressure on it. This is how the skin should react. And it really feels, smells and looks like leather. The inside of the wallet is lined with a satin fabric that holds its shape well and is very silky to the touch. Inside, one of the back pockets has a small flap nicely sewn on with the seller's name. stamped on it. However, the flap, which hangs from a chain on one of the purse's handles, is empty. I have no idea why the seller didn't bother putting his name on this piece of leather. I really don't mind as I think the label is sticky and removed it anyway (I do this with all my bags with this label). All in all this is a great bag. I need to make a small adjustment. I prefer using bag handles instead of shoulder straps. I'm only 5ft and the wallet handle only has 2 adjustment holes. But it will be easier for me to fix it and it will not be a problem because I have a device that can easily make additional holes without affecting the quality of the wallet and will be the same size. Beautiful purse with beautiful color, texture and slight sheen.
