After reading many reviews about many batteries I took a chance and bought them for my garlands. When they arrived, which by the way took a very long time, I was concerned that there was no production or expiry date anywhere on the packaging. I read that this is a problem. So I picked 6 random ones from the pack and tested them with two different voltmeters. None had the full 1.5V as stated here, in the description and on the packaging. The voltage of the 6 batteries tested ranged from 1.44V to 1.31V. They work well for a few days, but then quickly dim. I decided to do a good test. I put 3 of the 6 batteries in two identical sets of pretty glowing lightbulbs. Turn on both headlights for 6 hours every night. On night 4, I noticed one string of lights was bright when I turned them on, but that group dimmed noticeably after two hours. Six hours later, when I tried to turn them off, they were almost imperceptibly on. The other set is fine for some reason. I wouldn't buy them again.
