I have specifically avoided carpet cleaners that advertise fragrance as they are very irritating to my asthma. I really hoped there would be no smell. I was wrong! My husband does the cleaning while I stay in the other room just in case. But even after everything was done and air dried, the chemical smell meant I couldn't spend time in our dorm for three days because it irritated my asthma and lungs so much. Including costs and 3+ days time. invested, I at least hoped it would clean our carpet well. I can't say anything more about the look of our carpet. Walked areas were not cleaned at all to match unused areas. And on top of that, it left our soft-touch carpet with a little uncomfortable crunch.
