Treat it like a chair, inspect it often and dry it in the sun from time to time.

Looks and feels sturdy. Sturdy clip-in chair handles are great for allowing you to rise vertically out of your chair as you move forward. These are not armrests. You will bear the full weight of your stiff hand as you press down to stand up. If your hips are 16 inches wide in a seated position, you'll easily fit between the seat and the handlebars. If you're 17 inches wide you'll get tight, but it will work. If you are 18 inches+ wide, buy a chair that is wider. Removing a grip may widen your hips a bit, but this requires standing up with one hand to support yourself. ..and I climb into the side shower and then back into the chair to sit down. It works great this way, robust and stable. When you get up. Please do not try to twist (turn) left or right when climbing. This is not an ADA model for people with disabilities. This is a straight back chair for those who want a more comfortable shower. . Note. The screws can come loose. Wrinkles guaranteed. When assembling this chair, make sure the legs are flush and tight. Move while sitting in the chair with the shower on and the legs will loosen a little. every time. If you want them to be immobile, you can reinforce the legs by making crossbars for extra stability. Otherwise, try not to move your butt. Even better, regularly check the strength of the legs. When caution and care are not in your everyday wheelhouse. buy a Cadillac. I love this chair. It's lightweight yet durable and allows me to wash my feet easily. I can confidently enjoy a long lasting therapeutic hand spray for asthma and nasal congestion after a regular shower.
