This is good for small light creatures even if the back isn't supported (I opened the top seam and put in a hard plastic sheet to smooth the back, seam/ reinforce was stiff) and the fronts sag a bit which is annoying, I don't know how to fix that. There is no inner strap (so I added one and it was hard to sew back) and the bodice if you want it to stay open you need to add a tie (which I did). But after these modifications the backpack bag fits me well and is comfortable as it is smaller and lighter, the big ones hit the lower back and sides and this one can stay away from the lower back. More comfortable. It's small my 7 lb pup can sit in it and with the top down she's strapped in with straps and straps which I added stiffer back she can see and she loves the ride. But you can't lie in it, so for short walks and transfers, as I'm petite, it suits me. I really hope that the manufacturer can improve their design with the help of my modifications.
