update 6 months later. stopped working Fresh batteries, dead device. Now I have to contact the manufacturer to get a replacement as I believe I'm still under warranty. 2 stars deducted Update #2. Waterpik have made it very easy to process a warranty claim online. Answered a few questions via email and received a new device within a few days. ------ This is a great device. It's powerful. Really hits the bottlenecks. The water tank is sufficient for a complete cleaning. I also have an old school shower with a reservoir that fits on top, coiled hose and a plug that fits in the wall. She rarely crawled out from under the dressing table. It's a compact, battery-powered device and small enough to stand on the counter and remind you to use it. I even take it with me on vacation. The only downside is that it really needs AA batteries. With fairly regular use by two people I've been lucky to get 2-3 weeks before needing 3 new batteries. No deal breaker. The convenience and increased frequency of flossing is worth the cost of batteries. Buy a large box of AA batteries for this.
