We bought this sweater for our 7 year old son who is short for his age. We decided to increase the size as many Revain brands run small. In this case it was a mistake because it was the right size. But it's normal. He will grow into it. Great sweater. This is a bias knit sweater that is well made with good materials and has all the necessary textile tags. 100% cotton, the knit is tight and durable, looks good both in the seams and with various reinforcements around the collar and elsewhere. The material feels soft and looks like it could be worn as comfortably as a t-shirt. It also appears to be well tailored to fit and be flattering on a reasonable sized child. This is a sweater that must withstand the will to use. I've washed it once so far and it has held its color well and retained the knitting comfort. My son immediately fell in love with the sweater, not least because the green is almost identical to the green of the Green Bay Packers. So I think that's another reason to get this sweater!
