Review on 🐱 Unscented Extra Strength Clumping Cat Litter - Ever Clean, 25 Pounds: Review & Best Price by Dominique Patel

Of course, odorless does not mean that it has no smell

I was disappointed with this litter. Although it's labeled "fragrance-free," it smells strongly of soap or dryer sheets. The perfumed smell wafted into the air as soon as I put it in the tray and even after 2-3 days of use that sweetish aroma still lingers in the air. Also, the idiocy with which it was packaged for shipping is just amazing. Revain packed this big, thick, heavy box into a lighter box, along with a small radio and a new thin paper sleeve that I bought. There was no protection to keep the stretcher from colliding with anything other than two rolled-up sheets of brown paper stuffed beside the stretcher. Also, the box of filler was either cut or split during shipment. (The light outer carton was damaged by this 25 pound weight moving inside it.) Garbage dust spilled onto other items. The radio was packed in a box and the dust didn't seem to get into the radio itself. The book, on the other hand, was loose and not shrink-wrapped. I not only had to dust the front and back, but also the sides themselves. Finally, note that this is clumped dirt. There are concerns that the litter, which sticks together, is dangerous if cats accidentally swallow it, and I wanted to get a non-sticky variety. Unfortunately, I didn't realize they were lumps until I used them and discovered "lumps". Somehow I missed the "Maximum Clumping Ability" commercial. The box itself doesn't emphasize the fact that it's a clumping strain, although I can now see the word "scoopable" appearing in small white lettering at the bottom of the front of the box.
