Review on 🎢 Magnify Your Musical Experience with Musical Fidelity - V90-LPS MM/MC Phono Preamp by Eric Currie

I really like analog playback

I really like analog playback and spend a lot of time listening to vinyl. I actually have two analogue systems. Both use tube amps. (everyone has a Mac MC225). My reference system has a Mac C-11 preamp, which is considered by many to be one of the best for LP playback. I needed another preamp for my secondary system as the one I was using was marginal in the phono section. Discover the Musical Fidelity V90-LPS. Since the Mac MC-225 has level controls, I can connect the V90-LPS directly to the MC-225. Sounds fantastic! I love that the V90 is super quiet. The RIAA equalizer sounds perfect to me. With nothing else in the circuit, I don't miss or need any additional EQs like tone control gain or filters. The sound is clear and precise across the entire spectrum. The staging is wonderful. The V-90 is less warm than my C-11 and doesn't have as much depth as the C-11 (with 6 Telefunken 12AX7A), but at under $300, wow, it's legit! A nice addition is the ability to use a low output MC cartridge if I so choose. (I'm currently running a higher output MC cartridge, so the MM output works well. So, in summary, I'd recommend the V90-LPS to anyone looking for great LP playback on a budget.
