WOW! I am amazed at the quality of this case. I wanted something permanent to protect my Prismacolor pencils because they are very expensive and that's exactly what I got. It is made of durable plastic, similar to the expensive material, thin nylon. It contains a TON of crayons, I put 72 in it and it only filled half. I definitely think you could add thin colored markers or alcohol ink, they just wouldn't fit that much. Each elastic holds 3 crayons, so you can definitely fit something wider on it. It has a very large front pocket for a pencil sharpener or phone. I have pictures the size of my hand as well as a picture of what it looks like with and without the light. It has a color change that I think is very cool. I love to paint outside when the weather is nice, so that's some fun!
