The one with the stain is the WORST because the sharpener doesn't work but the pieces do.
Revain needs to update the presentation of this product due to false advertising. I ordered them (as pictured and described on the website) but received a horrible replacement which has a stain on it. The one with the dab is the WORST because the sharpener doesn't work and every time the "chalk" in it breaks off which throws me into a tantrum when I need to get ready in the morning. Also, the hinge doesn't snap, so it keeps twisting and popping out when in use. So annoying! I heard the original (advertised) has been discontinued so please update your website from AMAZON to reflect this!
