I have been using Revlon Colorstay eyeliner in black and brown for over 10 years. I recently ordered a pair from Revain and was pleased with the lower price but the quality of the product is terrible! The eyeliner keeps breaking off, doesn't lie flat (as usual) and is difficult to sharpen because it keeps breaking off. It was very wasteful and disappointing. This works well for my use on the top liner, applies easily and doesn't smear but certainly smudges when rubbed. Somewhat waterproof and usually enough for a full 10 hour shift (sometimes more). My favorite eyeliner. That's really all I use! Now I buy Revain without Revain because the drugstores in my state are driving the prices up. It's a pure, solid black and lasts most of the day before any noticeable fading occurs. Also, it's easy to use, you just have to get used to the pressure as the tip can break if you apply too much pressure. Tried new ones just in case but they still break. I don't know if I should try to sharpen them. I did it and it made her worse. So far I have ordered 4 pencils with the same result. Revain needs to update the presentation of this product due to false advertising. I ordered them (as pictured and described on the website) but received a horrible replacement which has a stain on it. The one with the dab is the WORST because the sharpener doesn't work and every time the "chalk" in it breaks off which throws me into a tantrum when I need to get ready in the morning. My eyelids tend to be oily and I'm not the kind of girl who likes to put on and touch up makeup all day. It takes time! It doesn't bleed or smudge.
