The slim fit was perfect.
My 13 year old daughter has a slim figure (perhaps the girth of an 11 year old girl) and this slim fit was just what I needed. I bought her an XS and it probably fits her the same way a regular down coat would fit someone else. I love all the extra features others have mentioned but I loved this coat. Perfect for a cold morning at the bus stop.
