They do what they have to do.
After 20 years, the halogen lamp in the outdoor light finally failed. So I bought these. Fit perfectly, very bright. It's only been a few months since I've installed it but no problems so far. Halogen bulbs may not be the latest in energy saving technology, but they have proven to be reliable over time and that's more important to me.
