First of all, I really appreciate that both meat and butter are from the USA. Of course, some ingredients and vitamins may come from other countries and I'm fine with that. This is one of the only dry dog foods my dogs love without the palatable additives. My girls are pretty picky. It has a wonderful ingredient list, and the recipe I'm looking at is skin and coat specific. My older dog, like many older dogs, is prone to scaly skin. I believe this meal helped, along with my addition of salmon oil. I did a little research on the company as I had never heard of them before and I really like their philosophy and transparency. This is definitely one I will be buying again to mix with their home cooked food so they get all their vitamins and minerals.
