This replacement kit will get the job done!

The instructions don't mention clips on the jacks where the cable is disconnected and reconnected. The small home button connector failed to securely connect the ribbon cable after the first disconnect, and that's not New Hail's fault. After disassembling and reassembling the iPad 4 several times to securely connect the wiring, I finally got the iPad back along with a new touchscreen and everything worked great.
