This is the perfect cutlery set for kids who are improving their mechanical skills and are ready to learn how to use a knife. They are comfortable to hold and are ideal for children's hands. This set is perfect for us as I have two toddlers who can finally eat out of silverware. They had no problem making the switch from the plastic and silicone forks and spoons we use. You can easily grab each bite and put it in your mouth. The size is perfect. And knives are a new skill for them, but they start learning them after seeing me cut their food. But don't worry - the knives aren't sharp or thin enough to cause injury. I hand wash all baby cups, plates, utensils etc and they wash out just as easily as anything else. They don't seem to change color when we have pasta! I really like this children's set.
