So I had to figure out how to reset the toner counter as my printer was still saying it was out of toner after installing it. Press the Back button and the X button repeatedly until the Reset Toner menu appears, and then reset the toner that you want to replace. That's what it took for my printer to accept the new toner. So far, so good. I will update my review if anything changes. I gave it a 3 star rating for now as it was very frustrating to reset the toner counter. For the price I paid, if all goes well I will increase the star rating later.
