You can't go wrong here. Non-toxic, but **highly** effective and inexpensive. I used this once on a Breville kettle that has been used daily without descaling for almost a decade. The inside looked like it had a layer of glue smeared on it until I descaled it with descaler. After one treatment, the kettle looked cleaner than the day it was bought. Since the graphic instructions are far from perfect, here they are in printed form: Use the powder to make the grout. Proper ratio: 2 tablespoons to 1 liter (32 ounces) of water.2. Pour a liter of solution into the reservoir of your coffee maker, espresso maker, Keurig, etc. and run through the machine, collecting and discarding the solution. For kettles or percolators or anything else that causes scale to build up in the tank, simply add the solution to the tank.3. Do nothing for about 20 minutes. This gives the solution time to break down the minerals. Urinex recommends not leaving it on for more than 30 minutes.4. Run 1-2 liters of fresh water through the machine to rinse out the decal and dirty water. If the water doesn't come out clear at the end, keep pumping in fresh water until it runs clear. Simply rinse teapots and coffee makers well with plenty of fresh water.5. Enjoy a fresh, descaled car.
