It might not have been on the manufacturer's radar, but it's a great option for children with hypotension or special needs. My little one has mild hypotension but that's enough for her not to be able to walk around in normal winter clothes. She is not strong enough to move her body with extra weight. Not to mention that prettier and neater winter suits don't roll up on your feet. So putting boots on a dangling-legged toddler who can't resist when you can roll up his winter pants? Forget it. It is impossible. These pants are amazing. My baby can walk in it. When it's snowing all she needs is a pair of wool pajamas underneath to keep warm. But whatever the weather, these pants are enough on their own. She's in 2T and I've upped it to 3T so there's room to grow. So they're a little baggy, but she'll grow in them for the rest of the winter. And they go with cloth diapers too! And I love how easy it is to roll up my pants and adjust their shoes to fit my needs. It makes it a lot easier to put on her shoes and store them the way I want. They were heaven sent this winter and I am so grateful to them!
