Review on Qualtex Dyson DC14 Replacement Hose by Debbie Black

I originally gave it 4 stars because it seemed to work well with my full DC14 kit right away. All accessories fit and the hose was just as strong as the OEM at half the price. Then the accessory began to slide. It was quite a lot at first, but now a few weeks have passed and I'm losing suction. I probably should have just spent $30 on another hose but I'm tired of replacing the part almost every time I use a Dyson and they don't come cheap! It's still usable, but a bit annoying. I would recommend buying one if you are in doubt about a Dyson replacement or only need it for a few months. Otherwise buy something else. I'm taking off another star because the hose is getting worse and worse. It slips more and I can feel air being sucked in where part of the coil meets the part that sticks to the vacuum, reducing suction. I should have just used the original Dyson part. Edit 3-1-17 again. Now the hose slips so much that the ladder mount doesn't work. So much for savings.
