I bought these before getting into BLW feeding. Also, it was just a cute spoon to feed my baby with and it works just great for that. The handle is very short, it's not easy to get the puree out of the jar. However, this would be ideal for parents trying to feed a BLW baby. My 5 month old can easily pick up a spoon and eat on his own. Utensils come with a few little nooks and crannies that can be a chore to clean if you've left them with dried food - but after a soak or just a good scrub, it's easy! When your child is teething, I will make sure they don't let them chew. I don't think they would have lasted too long if that was the case.
