Review on πŸͺ’ Razorock Plissoft BIG BRUCE Synthetic Shaving Brush - Ultimate Shaving Experience! by Tony Stone

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Another excellent shaving brush RazoRock

I had a lot of wild boar and badgers, including two silvertips, brushes. RazoRock's Plissoft brushes do a great job. I have the company's 24/57mm brush, another 5 star foamer; and this brush with its exceptional grip should be just above the 24/57mm Plissoft Razorock Plissoft Synthetic Shaving Brush just for the grip; Big Bruce also has a larger knot and higher loft. Both brushes produce excellent lather with less effort (mixing) than my best silver nozzle. Big Bruce's feel is slightly better balanced than the other Plissofts mentioned, but I'd have a hard time picking one over the other. A brush with a smaller knot is a bit heavy, not a bad trait, just an observation; where the balance of this Big Bruce is less difficult in the pen. If it were a razor, a larger brush would be preferable. But just for facial shaving, the slightly smaller RazoRock Plissoft unit can have the advantage of foam management. Each of these brushes is ideal for wet shaving. After further comparing the Big Bruce and the 24mm Plissoft, I found the BB to have the most comfortable length and density of synthetic bristles I have. Longer, diverging bristles easily provide the most comfortable lathering experience when lathering in a bowl or in a bowl. With its exceptional Bruce handle, the Big Bruce is the ultimate shaving brush. The larger knot and longer loft takes a few times to get the hang of, but once you've nailed it - we played basketball - nothing but a net.
