This is a very good price for outdoor speakers which I think is a good price. There are many very cheap and very expensive outdoor speakers on the market, I think they are in the middle and offer quality for the money. The woofers are sealed and unported, so they have less bass out of the box than some other designs, but with a little EQ (bass boost) they can sound significantly better than their ported counterparts. The top end is clean but not harsh thanks to the soft dome tweeter. I installed them under my patio cover and the brackets were easy to use. Complaints: * Spring terminals are tiny, something that accepts banana or speacon plugs would be much better * Tweeter waveguide is set for horizontal radiation but I have to mount it on its side which messes things up a bit, wish it did could it was round or adjustable. Generally very happy with the money spent. The fact that they are always there and connected to the amplifier and the airport express means I can just go outside and play music from my phone on demand. No more charging portable speakers or lugging devices outside.
