Very nice and good value for money

After buying and returning a few curtains, I found them and I am very satisfied. They don't darken the room, they darken the room more. They are unlined and have no self-adhesive backing, just heavyweight polyester webbing. I have a 76" sliding patio door and a large 120" triple window that I bought to close. A 100" panel was enough to cover my 76" sliding glass door. I have two 100" panels to cover my large 120" triple window. I bought them for privacy, not light blocking. I have photos of two places where I hung curtains. It is now noon and at this time both the window and the shutter are illuminated by indirect sun. Both have a porch outside. With sunlight on the low horizon, the light filtered through them is a little brighter, but the curtains darken the room. I had to iron them to remove the wrinkles. I tried steaming, which took forever with slabs this big. They were still wrinkled. I put 1 wet panel in the dryer on a constant press cycle and it didn't remove the wrinkles so I ironed all 3 wide panels to smooth them out. These curtains hang very well. They are quite heavy and hang straight. They have eyelets, so they open very wide and are laterally compact when open. I like it. They don't invade the window area so I get plenty of light and a full view when they're open. The seams are slightly wrinkled at the edges. I suppose if I had spent more time on this I could smooth out the crease. I love that they are machine washable and I trust they will wash well when the time comes. I think they are good value for money. I was able to buy 3 panels for less than $90. The other curtains I bought were narrower panels which would cost more to cover my 2 large windows. So I don't have to assemble narrow panels. I get a nice pair of curtains on a window and a nice fixed panel on my sliding door. The color was more perfect than in the picture. I was a bit reluctant because online photos don't always show the true color, but this beige suits my decor perfectly. It really couldn't be more perfect for my setup. If you are looking for a nice neutral color these are fine. For me they match the color of my wall and it was totally random. I am pleased. I didn't want a big color contrast. In general I am very satisfied. This is not a luxury item. They have no cloth lining. They are good value for money and look very nice.

Pros
  • curtains and curtains
Cons
  • poorly thought out
