Installed perfectly with no problems. Just shut up. I used them on my 2004 Ford F150 4WD Lariat and they work great. I had no idea how bad my original hood lifters were. They pretty much pick the hood up on their own. But they're also so strong that if you don't hold onto the hood when you open it, the hood will bounce up and down, causing the hinges to wear out over time. I'm trying to prevent it from bouncing when fully open. Now the hood no longer closes on your head when it's windy! I wish I had waited that long to replace the originals!
