Cracked screen within a week

I work in IT and have found the specs to meet the minimum requirements for web browsing and casual gaming. I also had extra laptop RAM which allowed me to upgrade it right away. And I bought it with discount code AWD 25% which is $470 after tax. But it was a bad choice. First, you cannot update it. After more than an hour of trying, the bottom two corners would not come off at all, even though they were torn from all other sides. They must be bolted or potted with no open disassembly method. Disappointed as 8GB didn't feel like 8GB at all. Second, the processor's base frequency is terrible. 1.6 GHz meant CPU usage was at 100% when Google Chrome and two other programs were open at the same time. In the week I owned it, it hung on me several times. Terrible performance for an 11th gen i5 chip. Third, this laptop is full of malware. I had to remove 12 programs from the box. All of these programs would normally be competing for limited resources on this thing, meaning my second point would come up more often if I left them installed. Fourth, the fan noise is loud. I don't think it's noisy because I bought it used, but the case design and heat dissipation make it noisy with normal use. Wasn't a fan of it. Fifth and most important, the internal IPS display cracked after my headphones fell about 2 feet on it. Headphones. The ENTIRE SCREEN is now shattered and all I see is white with multicolored streaks and broken meshes. It can no longer be used as a laptop. I've owned it for a week. I had to restart it several times because the processor was clogged and nothing responded. The hum of the fans was loud. And the screen broke which made it stop working. It's a shame that HP's quality has declined over the years. I bought a laptop from them in 2016 for $400 MSRP and it worked almost the same as this one. The screen is also intact.
